Middle School Long Term Sub Position

Alexandria Country Day School is looking for a dynamic, experienced, and collaborative middle school teacher to serve as a full-time, long-term substitute for various disciplines from August to mid-December 2017, with the potential for two more weeks of work in February.

Qualified candidates will possess at least three years of experience in classroom teaching and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. The school seeks candidates who are skilled, creative, and adept at employing technology in the classroom. A good sense of humor, a positive outlook, and an appreciation of the unique qualities of the age group are essential.

Substitute Teachers

Alexandria Country Day School is currently recruiting substitute teachers for the 2016-2017 school year. This position is on-call and as needed.

Qualified candidates must be enthusiastic, team players and have an appreciation of the unique qualities of the Kindergarten through 8th grade age group. A Bachelor’s degree and criminal background check are required. A background in education and classroom experience is preferred.
