The Gymnasium

Alexandria Country Day places a priority on our students’ physical health and development, yet our faculty and coaches struggle to build and sustain outstanding programs within the confines of inadequate space. To address these challenges, the Fulfilling our Vision plan calls for a new gymnasium equipped with:

  • a regulation middle school-sized basketball court with two half-courts, to accommodate multiple physical education classes and athletic practices,

  • retractable bleacher seating,

  • changing areas, restrooms, athletic offices, and storage space.
