Thank you for your interest in supporting Alexandria Country Day School. Like all independent schools, ACDS depends upon the generosity of our community of friends to sustain and advance the mission of the School. This is an exciting time as we celebrate our twenty-fifth anniversary and embark on new capital projects. There are many opportunities for alumni, parents, grandparents, alumni parents, and friends to take an active role in fostering the School’s mission and ensuring the best possible educational environment.

ACDS has two fundraising initiatives currently underway:

• Fulfilling Our Vision – A $4.5 million capital campaign which seeks to add a middle schoool regulation- sized gymnasium, a much-needed cafeteria and a dedicated performing arts center, as well as new resource rooms and additional office space.

• The Fund for Excellence – The annual giving program is the backbone of our fundraising efforts at ACDS. The $175,000 goal represents 4% of the School’s operating budget and supports daily program needs in curriculum, athletics and professional development.
